Dear Resident, The Government's early release scheme makes changes to the amount of time some offenders spend in prison before being released to serve the rest of their sentence on licence. If you have been affected by these changes or are worried about the release of offenders, local services are available to support you. Offender Release HelplineVictim Support’s dedicated Offender Release Helpline provides information, emotional and practical support, and help to access other services for people affected by, or worried about, the release of an offender. Local SupportIn Warwickshire, Victim Support deliver local services which provide emotional and practical support to help victims cope and recover from the effects of crime. These services ensure that all victims of crime can access support, particularly those who are vulnerable and need enhanced support. The OPCC commissions a range of services across the county which help victims recover from crime, support vulnerable people, reduce offending and make communities safer.
